Job summary

Registered Nurse (RN) for 6B Medical Unit at ChristianaCare Hospital, responsible for implementing relationship-based care, managing acutely and chronically ill adult patients, and working in a team environment during day shifts.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to adult patients on an inpatient medical unit, including patients with acute and chronic conditions such as pneumonia, diabetes, COPD, syncope, and altered mental status. Apply a relationship-based care model and coordinate care with patients, families, and colleagues while following unit staffing and assignment guidelines.

Qualifications

Applicants must hold an RN license in Delaware or a compact state, have at least one year of RN medical-surgical experience, and hold BLS certification. A BSN is preferred, or the candidate must commit to obtaining one within three years of hire.
