Job summary

Seeking a Senior Controls & Automation Engineer to develop and maintain LabVIEW and NI FlexLogger applications for data acquisition, control, and automation in a defense technology testing environment. Responsibilities include building hardware abstraction layers, integrating COTS instrumentation and PLC systems, automating projects, mentoring engineers, and ensuring test system efficiency.

Responsibilities

You will develop and maintain LabVIEW and NI FlexLogger-based applications for data acquisition, control, and test automation. Additionally, you will lead automation initiatives, mentor engineers, and manage projects from requirements through deployment.

Qualifications

Automation Development COTS Instrumentation Integration Data Acquisition (DAQ) Electrical Wiring & Signal Conditioning LabVIEW NI FlexLogger Project Management Sensor Selection & Configuration Software Architecture Test Systems Development

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience and at least 5 years of experience developing LabVIEW-based test systems. Proficiency in integrating COTS instrumentation and PLC-based control systems is required, along with eligibility for a U.S. Security Clearance.
