Job summary

Registered Nurse for Surgical Step-Down Unit at Christiana Care with responsibilities including comprehensive patient care, working rotating shifts (Day/Evenings/Nights), and providing care to diverse patient populations in a high-level hospital setting.

Responsibilities

Provide nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients within a 35-bed surgical intermediate/step-down unit. Perform nursing interventions and monitor patients requiring care every two to four hours.

Qualifications

ACLS BLS critical care hospital medical-surgical nursing patient care

Requires a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or a commitment to obtain one within three years, along with at least one year of nursing experience. Must hold a valid nursing license in Delaware, BLS certification, and obtain ACLS certification within one year of hire.
