Job summary

Assist medical providers in clinical tasks such as patient preparation, taking vitals, administering medications, supporting diagnostic tests, and patient education in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

The Medical Assistant provides clinical support by rooming patients, performing medication reconciliation, and documenting medical history in the electronic record. They also assist providers during exams, collect laboratory specimens, and administer medications or vaccines as directed.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and have successfully completed an accredited medical assistant training program. Basic life support certification and proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic medical record software are required.
