The Staff Accountant supports core close and general ledger activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and audit support, in a fast-growing energy company. The role requires attention to detail, ownership, and the ability to learn quickly, working closely with various teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Responsibilities

The Staff Accountant will support the Assistant Controller in executing the monthly close process, preparing journal entries, and reconciling balance sheet accounts. They are also responsible for maintaining audit-ready documentation and ensuring compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements.
