Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care, collaborates with an interprofessional team to assess and develop care plans, and ensures safe, high-quality treatment within scope of practice. Responsibilities

Provides specialized, evidence-based nursing care by assessing patients, developing collaborative care plans, and delivering age-appropriate and culturally sensitive treatment. Works with patients, families, physicians, and the interprofessional team to improve outcomes and care experiences, manage risks, respond to emergencies, and support a professional learning environment.

Qualifications

Requires current Wisconsin RN licensure, American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support certification, and an associate degree in nursing; a bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred. The role also requires the ability to perform physical patient-care duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds, and to work in an environment with potential exposure to bodily fluids, sharps, and other workplace hazards.
