Job summary

The role involves supporting advanced opto-electronic and sensor systems for maritime and avionics defence platforms, contributing to requirements, design, integration, verification, and delivery across the full systems engineering lifecycle.

Responsibilities

The Systems Engineer will manage the full systems engineering lifecycle, including requirements capture, architecture definition, and system integration. They will also lead verification and validation activities while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver complex maritime and avionics platforms.

Qualifications

Maritime or Defence Programmes Modeling Techniques Opto-electronic Systems Real-time Embedded Systems Requirements Engineering Requirements Management Tools Sensor-based Systems System Integration Systems Engineering Verification and Validation

Candidates must have over 5 years of experience in systems engineering within defence or safety-critical environments, with proficiency in the V-model and requirements management tools like DOORS. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering is required, along with the eligibility to obtain SC security clearance.
