Job summary

Seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for designing, specifying, and executing tasks related to static and rotating equipment in industrial plants, especially chlor-alkali and green hydrogen facilities. The role involves equipment design, vendor evaluation, field support, and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

Design, specify, select, and support static and rotating equipment and package units, including tanks, vessels, pumps, and compressors, for small- to medium-sized projects. Prepare and review technical procurement documents and vendor submissions, coordinate equipment integration with multidisciplinary teams, and support calculations, design reviews, troubleshooting, installation, commissioning, and field activities.

Qualifications

AutoCAD Engineering Software Equipment Design Industry Standards (API, ANSI, ASME, ISO) Mechanical Engineering Microsoft Office Problem Solving Team Collaboration Troubleshooting

Requires a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, at least four years of equipment engineering experience in a relevant industrial sector, and FE exam completion or willingness to sit for it, with EIT certification or the ability to obtain it. Candidates should know applicable API, ANSI, ASME, and ISO standards and have equipment engineering and AutoCAD experience; an NCEES Record, MLE designation, and Mechanical PE licensure are preferred.
