Job summary

A Dayshift Mechanical Engineer is responsible for maintaining, installing, and repairing manufacturing plant equipment, including conveyor systems, gearboxes, and rotating machinery. The role involves preventive and breakdown maintenance, supporting plant installations, and adhering to safety standards. The engineer will work within a team, utilizing their technical skills and experience in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

The Mechanical Engineer will perform planned, preventative, and breakdown maintenance on production equipment and building services at the Stirling plant. They will also support the installation of new plant equipment and maintain accurate records within the maintenance management system.

Qualifications

Bearings Conveyor Systems Gearboxes Health and Safety Hydraulics Maintenance Mechanical Engineering Pneumatics Pumps Rotating Machinery

Candidates must hold an HNC, HND, or Level 3 apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering. Hands-on experience with industrial machinery such as conveyors, hydraulics, and pneumatics is required.
