Job summary

The Atlas Controls Reliability Engineer at Boston Dynamics will diagnose and resolve complex system failures in humanoid robots by analyzing logs, developing diagnostic scripts in Python and C++, and working closely with hardware and software teams to improve system reliability.

Responsibilities

You will lead investigations into complex controls and behavioral issues while developing automated diagnostic software to improve fleet reliability. This role acts as a bridge between field operations and engineering to resolve system failures and standardize technical playbooks.

Qualifications

C++ Controls theory data analysis diagnostic tools electric motors embedded systems log analytics Python software development system debugging

Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field and 1–4 years of professional experience in robotics or hardware reliability. Proficiency in C++ and Python for system debugging and analysis is required, along with the ability to work onsite.
