The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in primary care provides nursing care under supervision, administers medications, tracks patient data, and follows clinical protocols to ensure safe and effective patient treatment.

Responsibilities

The LPN administers nursing care to patients under the direction of a Registered Professional and assists with treatments and procedures. They are responsible for collecting patient data, monitoring vital signs, and ensuring safe medication administration according to established protocols.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold a current license to practice as a Practical Nurse in the State of New York and be a graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with the physical ability to lift 20 lbs.
