Responsibilities

CDI Specialists will collaborate with healthcare professionals to improve the quality and accuracy of clinical documentation. They will conduct chart reviews and issue queries to ensure compliance with documentation standards.

Qualifications

Analytical Skills CCDS or CDIP Certification Clinical Documentation Improvement Coding and Compliance (AHIMA, ACDIS) DRG (Diagnosis-Related Group) Knowledge EMRs (Electronic Medical Records) Medical Records Review Microsoft Office Query Management RN License

Candidates must have a CCDS or CDIP certification and a current RN license, along with three years of CDI experience. Two years of clinical experience in an acute care setting is preferred.
