Job summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the surgical unit provides comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced, post-op surgical environment, managing patients with complex needs, including various drips and care procedures. The role involves leading, coordinating, and executing evidence-based nursing practices to ensure safety, quality outcomes, and optimal patient experience, supporting both new and experienced nurses.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic outcomes in a surgical unit. They will manage patient care, monitor clinical drips, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure a safe environment.

Qualifications

Candidates must have completed an accredited nursing program and hold a valid Registered Nurse license. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association is also required.
