Job summary

The Director of Business Development leads power project portfolios, supports team management, and shapes growth opportunities in renewable energy, ensuring strategic project execution, stakeholder engagement, risk management, and portfolio prioritization.

Responsibilities

Lead and prioritize a portfolio of power development projects, supporting Development Managers, allocating resources, overseeing budgets, and resolving complex development issues. Develop team capabilities, manage key stakeholder relationships, evaluate new and acquired opportunities, and communicate portfolio risks, opportunities, and decisions to senior leadership.

Requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, along with 5–10 years of relevant experience advancing complex utility-scale power, renewable energy, or infrastructure projects. Candidates should bring development expertise, portfolio and people leadership, sound commercial judgment, strong stakeholder and communication skills, and willingness to travel regularly.
