Job summary

The EHS Specialist helps drive health, safety, and environmental standards through support, compliance, risk assessments, audits, training, emergency planning, and stakeholder engagement, primarily in a chemical manufacturing or distribution environment.

Responsibilities

The EHS Specialist will provide competent support and advice on health, safety, and environmental matters to ensure site compliance with UK legislation. They are responsible for implementing safe systems of work, conducting audits, and promoting a strong safety culture through training and engagement.

Qualifications

Accident Investigation EHS Management Systems Emergency Preparedness Environmental Audits Environmental Management Health and Safety Management Legislation Compliance Risk Assessment Stakeholder Management Training & Engagement

Candidates must hold a NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Safety and Health and an IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management or their equivalents. Experience in the chemical manufacturing or distribution industry is highly preferred.
