Job summary

The position is for experienced Operating Room registered nurses offering full-time, part-time, and per diem roles across several campuses in Philadelphia area. The role involves providing patient-centered care, collaborating with patients and families, assessing and treating patients, administering medications, documenting health information, and participating in quality improvement activities.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse provides compassionate, patient- and family-centered care within the operating room, utilizing the nursing process to address diverse physical and emotional needs. Responsibilities include developing individualized care plans, collaborating with inter-professional teams, and ensuring patient safety through established protocols.

Qualifications

assessment and diagnosis BLS - Basic Life Support clinical judgement cultural awareness discharge planning effective communication health information documentation medication administration patient and family education patient assessment

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an active Pennsylvania RN license and BLS certification. A BSN degree and at least one year of experience in an acute care setting are strongly preferred.
