Job summary

Seeking a Senior Design Manager to lead product design for Mercury’s core experiences, focusing on AI-native, conversational, and adaptive interfaces. Responsible for defining interaction philosophy, setting quality standards, and coaching designers in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Define and evolve Mercury’s interaction philosophy, focusing on AI-native and adaptive experiences across all products. Lead, coach, and develop a team of product designers while shaping product strategy in collaboration with Engineering and Product teams.

Requires exceptional product taste, strong judgment in software behavior, and a deep understanding of AI-native interaction models. Candidates must be craft-obsessed design leaders with experience in systems thinking and cross-functional partnership.
