Job summary

Provide recovery-focused peer support services to individuals with mental health and/or substance use challenges, helping them build resilience, independence, and community connections through compassionate, lived experience-based support.

Responsibilities

The Peer Support Specialist provides recovery-focused support to individuals with mental health or substance use challenges by utilizing lived experience. They facilitate recovery groups, assist in developing wellness plans, and advocate for individuals to help them achieve personal goals.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist (CPRS) certification, as well as CPR and First Aid certification. A valid driver's license with three years of driving experience is required, and experience supporting individuals with mental health or substance use disorders is necessary.
