Job summary

Seeking an experienced Principal Designer Representative to support delivery of National Grid projects, ensuring CDM compliance, safety, and risk management across design and construction phases, with strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

The Principal Designer Representative will manage CDM compliance and design risk processes across National Grid projects, including FEED and construction stages. They will lead design risk workshops and ensure the production of essential safety documentation such as Pre-Construction Information and Health and Safety Files.

Qualifications

CDM Regulations 2015 Design Reviews Design Risk Management Design Risk Registers Health & Safety Health & Safety Files Pre-Construction Information (PCI) Project Delivery Risk Workshops (HAZID/HAZOP) Stakeholder Engagement

Candidates must have proven experience in a Principal Designer or CDM Advisor role, ideally within the utilities or infrastructure sectors. A relevant degree in engineering or construction and familiarity with CDM Regulations 2015 are required.
