Job summary

A field service engineer responds to customer repair requests for power and energy equipment, diagnosing issues, preparing quotes, ordering parts, and performing repairs on Diesel and Gas power generators in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

The engineer will diagnose and repair power generation equipment at customer sites while providing detailed reports for service quotes. They are responsible for ensuring all work complies with health and safety standards and maintaining operational effectiveness of the machinery.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold a valid driving license and possess an NVQ Level 3 or equivalent apprenticeship in a relevant engineering field. Significant experience with heavy diesel and gas-powered generation equipment is essential for this role.
