Job summary

Licensed Practical Nurse responsible for providing basic patient care, medication administration, and treatments to elderly residents in a senior living facility. Requires patience, compassion, and gerontological nursing knowledge.

Responsibilities

The LPN is responsible for providing basic medical attention, administering medications, and performing treatments such as wound care and catheterization. They also coordinate nursing care for residents and communicate changes in health status to physicians.

Qualifications

CPR certification electronic medical records medical assessment medication administration patient care wound care

Candidates must hold a current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse and possess current CPR certification. At least two years of experience in a long-term care setting is preferred, along with basic computer skills.
