Job summary

Join IU Health as an experienced Registered Nurse in the Adult PCU, providing high-acuity care for intermediate patients with complex needs, including monitoring, assessments, medication management, and patient education.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse delivers comprehensive, patient-centered care for adult patients with intermediate-acuity needs in a progressive care unit. Responsibilities include performing frequent assessments, monitoring cardiac and respiratory status, and coordinating with an interdisciplinary team to support safe care progression.

Qualifications

cardiac rhythm interpretation clinical documentation collaborative care critical thinking dysrhythmia recognition medication titration multi-disciplinary teamwork patient assessment patient education telemetry monitoring

Candidates must hold an active Registered Nurse license and have at least two years of recent acute-care nursing experience. A degree from an accredited nursing program is required, along with current BLS and ACLS certifications.
