Job summary

Seeking a registered nurse with one year of RN experience, preferably two years of OR experience, for a position supporting a variety of surgical procedures in a collaborative environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Responsibilities

Provide focused nursing care to one patient at a time during a wide range of adult and pediatric surgical procedures. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia staff, certified surgical technologists, and operating room assistants to deliver high-quality perioperative care.

Qualifications

Acute care Anatomy & Physiology Basic Life Support (BLS) Communication OR experience Patient care Surgical equipment

Requires at least one year of RN experience, an associate degree in nursing, graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program, an active Indiana or Nurse Licensure Compact RN license, and AHA Basic Life Support certification. Two years of operating room experience and a bachelor’s degree in nursing are preferred; exceptions to the accredited-program requirement may be considered for candidates with more than two years of acute care experience, subject to approval.
