Responsibilities

The Gastroenterology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive care to patients with gastrointestinal disorders in long-term care facilities. Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients, as well as developing treatment plans and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

Candidates must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing or an accredited NP program, along with an active, unrestricted license and DEA certification. At least six months of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing, plus one year of experience in gastroenterology, is required.
