Job summary

The role involves leading hardware engineering for GPU and AI accelerators, including architecture evaluation, performance optimization, firmware development, validation, vendor collaboration, and monitoring for the Roblox large-scale infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Lead the technical lifecycle of GPU and AI accelerator ecosystems, from architectural evaluation to large-scale fleet integration. Optimize hardware-level performance, manage firmware, and collaborate with vendors to ensure stable rendering and AI inference workloads.

Qualifications

Debugging server issues Firmware development GPU architecture Hardware optimization Hardware troubleshooting Linux environment testing Monitoring (Grafana/Prometheus) Performance tuning Programming (Python, Go, C++) System validation and stress testing

Requires a degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering and 5+ years of experience with GPU architecture and high-performance compute systems. Proficiency in Python, Go, or C++ and deep knowledge of data center technologies like PCIe fabric and NVLink are essential.
