Job summary

Perform maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of machinery in a manufacturing environment. Install, inspect, and repair industrial equipment, ensuring safety and adherence to quality standards. Work involves troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic systems; performing welding and building maintenance; and operating high-speed equipment. Requires understanding safety policies, PPE requirements, and ability to work overtime on various shifts.

Responsibilities

The maintenance technician will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial machinery including slitters, welders, and conveyors. They are also responsible for building maintenance, logging labor in the CMMS, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) Electrical Systems High-speed machinery Hydraulics Mechanical Repair Plumbing Pneumatics Troubleshooting Use of tools Welding

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, with a technical degree preferred. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a metal manufacturing environment is preferred, along with proficiency in welding and mechanical troubleshooting.
