Job summary

Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, assisting with medical treatments, administering medications, and coordinating healthcare activities.

Responsibilities

Provide holistic nursing care to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including administering medications and treatments, monitoring health, and supporting preventive and routine medical care. Coordinate with physicians, pharmacies, families, and the interdisciplinary team, train unlicensed personnel, and advocate for individuals’ health and community support needs.

Qualifications

CPR Health Education Medication Administration nursing patient care

Requires graduation from an accredited licensed nursing program, an unrestricted current nursing license, and current CPR certification or eligibility to obtain it. Candidates must communicate effectively, work independently, organize and prioritize tasks, and meet the stated physical and vision requirements.
