Job summary

The role involves owning day-to-day fraud detection and investigations within secured lending, including analyzing suspicious activities, preparing escalation packages, and collaborating with various teams to strengthen fraud controls. The candidate will investigate fraud typologies such as application, identity, collateral, and dealer-related fraud, monitor fraud trends, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

The Fraud Analyst will own first-line fraud detection and investigation across secured lending products, monitoring for suspicious activity throughout the loan lifecycle. They will also partner with Operations, Risk, and Compliance teams to document fraud typologies and strengthen internal controls.

Qualifications

Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in fraud investigation or financial crimes within a regulated financial institution. A bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience is required, along with knowledge of BSA/AML requirements and SAR reporting processes.
