Job summary

Per Diem Advanced Practice Professional (NP/PA) provides clinical management for critically ill neuro patients, supporting emergency and neuro ICU care within a multidisciplinary team at Atlantic Health Morristown Medical Center.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical management for critically ill patients with complex neurological conditions under the supervision of a Neuro ICU attending physician, including emergency support for neuro patients outside the ICU. Obtain histories and examinations, order and interpret tests, develop and implement treatment plans, monitor patient status, communicate with families, and contribute to clinical research and quality improvement.

Qualifications

Clinical Management Clinical Research Diagnostic Interpretation Emergency Management Family-centered Care Leadership in Healthcare Neurocritical Care Patient Assessment Quality Improvement Treatment Planning

A master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program and New Jersey licensure or eligibility for licensure are required. Candidates must have ACLS and BLS certifications, 1–2 years of Neurocritical Care experience, and strong communication and computer skills; ENLS certification is preferred.
