Job summary

Seeking experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for the Cardiac Surgical unit at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center. Responsible for providing comprehensive patient care, coordinating clinical decisions, and leading safety efforts for cardiac surgery patients, including those with complex needs like heart transplants and VADs.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will coordinate comprehensive patient care using evidence-based practice and clinical decision-making to ensure safe, therapeutic outcomes. They will work within a specialized cardiovascular surgical unit to provide care for patients undergoing heart surgery, transplants, and VAD procedures.

Qualifications

Acute Care Cardiac Care Communication Critical Thinking Nursing Patient Care

Candidates must have completed an accredited nursing program and hold a valid Registered Nurse license. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and at least one year of acute care nursing experience are required for this day shift position.
