Job summary

Registered Nurse in a day surgery center providing patient care for elective and urgent/emergent surgical patients, including orthopedics, GYN ONC, general, robotic, urology, plastics, cardiac, and dental, with responsibilities in coordinating safe, therapeutic care and creating a safe patient environment.

Responsibilities

Provide and coordinate comprehensive care for elective and urgent or emergent surgical patients using the nursing process and established clinical standards. Apply evidence-based practice, clinical judgment, and compassionate communication to promote patient safety and a positive care experience.

Qualifications

ACLS BLS clinical decision making communication general surgery nursing orthopedics PALS patient care Urology

Applicants must complete an accredited or approved nursing program and hold an active registered nurse license in the state where they practice. Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and PALS, and the posting seeks candidates with 1–2 years of nursing experience, preferably in medical-surgical, emergency, or perioperative care.
