Responsibilities

The Mechanical Engineer will support all valve engineering activities for the Hinkley Point C project, ensuring designs are compliant and fit for operation in a nuclear environment. They will act as the primary point of contact for valve-related queries, coordinating technical activities across multiple packages and systems.

Qualifications

Design Assessment Mechanical Engineering Nuclear Industry Standards Project Management Quality Assurance Regulatory Standards Stakeholder Management Technical Documentation Troubleshooting Valve Design

Candidates must hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or a related discipline and possess experience across the valve lifecycle in highly regulated industries. Strong understanding of engineering documentation, technical specifications, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder interfaces are essential.
