Job summary

A Behavioral Health Technician providing inpatient mental health and addiction treatment, responsible for patient observation, safety, documentation, group activities, crisis management, and supporting a therapeutic environment. Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, minimal supervision, and preferably a background in psychiatric healthcare.

Responsibilities

The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for maintaining a safe therapeutic environment through patient monitoring, safety checks, and crisis intervention. They also assist with activities of daily living, facilitate therapeutic groups, and document patient care in coordination with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications
