A Multi Coded Welder supporting Royal Navy vessels at Clyde, performing high-precision welding tasks on submarines and surface vessels, including MMA, Flux Core, and TIG techniques, ensuring safety and structural integrity in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

The role involves performing high-quality welding on submarines and surface vessels using various techniques to ensure structural integrity. You will also be responsible for identifying defects, improving welding processes, and collaborating with a multi-skilled team to support operational readiness.

Qualifications

Flux Core welding MMA welding Pipework welding Structural welding TIG welding Weld testing (NDT and destructive) Welding

Candidates must have extensive experience as a multi-coded welder with proficiency in MMA, Flux Core, and TIG techniques. A recognised fabrication or welding apprenticeship to at least N/SVQ Level 3 is required, along with the ability to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
