Job summary

A field-based role supporting DC power infrastructure installation, focusing on passive equipment, hardware, cable racks, wiring, and cable pulling under supervision.

Responsibilities

Install or remove passive telecommunications equipment and hardware, build cable racks, prepare and route cables, and perform assigned wiring, labeling, verification, and testing tasks under supervision. Maintain jobsite safety and organization, document work and materials, and collaborate with the installation team while traveling to customer sites.

Qualifications

Basic computer skills Cable pulling and sewing Cabling practices Electronic testing and verification Inventory management Reading floor plans and drawings Safe tool operation Telecommunications installation Use of hand and power tools Wiring knowledge

Requires a high school diploma or GED, basic telecommunications installation and cabling knowledge, basic wiring and tool skills, computer proficiency, and a valid driver’s license. Candidates must be able to travel, work varying shifts, meet the stated physical demands, and follow safety requirements; related installation experience and technical training are desired.
