Job summary

Join Jefferson Health's critical care transport team as a JeffSTAT Paramedic, delivering advanced clinical care in high-acuity settings during inter-facility and emergency transports, with requirements including extensive critical care experience, relevant licensure, and certifications.

Responsibilities

Deliver expert-level clinical care and support to critically ill or injured patients during inter-facility and emergency transports. Maintain mission-readiness by performing daily checks on medical equipment, vehicle inventory, and clinical supplies.

Qualifications

advanced life support procedures chest decompression EKG interpretation external ventricular drains Intubation invasive monitoring devices IV access mechanical cardiac assist devices medication administration

Requires a minimum of 3 years of field paramedic experience in a critical care or 911 ALS environment. Must hold Pennsylvania Paramedic and National Registry Paramedic certifications, with additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, and BLS.
