Responsibilities

The Medical Assistant/Patient Service Specialist provides clinical support by rooming patients, taking vital signs, and assisting providers during examinations. They also manage administrative tasks including patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and obtaining prior authorizations.

Qualifications

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and one to three years of experience in a medical setting. Completion of an approved medical assistant or medical secretary program is preferred.
