Job summary

The Group Leader in Biopharma at PPD, part of Thermo Fisher Scientific, is responsible for managing laboratory staff, overseeing project activities, ensuring compliance with GMP and other regulations, and supporting quality and technical operations within a biopharma laboratory. The role involves team management, resource allocation, protocol review, data quality assurance, client interaction, and compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Manage a team of analysts and laboratory resources to ensure the quality and timeliness of biopharma project activities. Oversee the preparation of technical documents, lead client meetings, and ensure adherence to company policies and GMP standards.

Qualifications

Analytical Techniques Electrophoresis ELISA GMP HPLC Laboratory Management Leadership Project Management Spectrophotometry UPLC

Requires a bachelor's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related field with over 5 years of relevant experience. Must have at least one year of leadership experience and a deep understanding of GMP, ICH, and FDA/EMA guidelines.
