Job summary

Waymo is seeking an experienced Lead NVH Engineer to define and implement vehicle NVH strategies, lead integration of NVH solutions for autonomous vehicles, utilize advanced CAE tools for analysis, and collaborate cross-functionally to optimize vehicle sound quality and comfort.

Responsibilities

Define and implement the full vehicle NVH strategy while leading the integration of the Self Driving System into the base vehicle platform. Conduct advanced CAE simulation, testing, and validation to optimize vehicle noise, vibration, and harshness characteristics.

Qualifications

Abaqus Acoustics CA**E tools Hypermesh Modal analysis Nastran NVH Optistruct Sound quality metrics Vibration

Requires a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 12 years of experience in automotive NVH engineering. Candidates must possess deep theoretical knowledge of acoustics and vibration, along with expertise in industry-standard CAE and testing tools.
