Job summary

As an AB Deck Rating in the Maritime Services team, you'll support vessel operations, mooring, maintenance, and equipment handling to ensure safe, efficient maritime service delivery, working within maritime safety regulations and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

You will support the safe operation of vessels by performing berthing, mooring, and anchoring activities. Additionally, you will carry out general ship husbandry, equipment maintenance, and operate deck machinery in compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

Deck machinery operation Equipment repair and maintenance Health, safety and environmental procedures Maritime operations Mooring activities Rope handling Ship maintenance Vessel berthing

Candidates should hold relevant Maritime and Coastguard Agency certifications or be newly qualified Officers of the Watch seeking operational experience. You must be able to obtain Home Office Security Clearance and demonstrate strong health, safety, and environmental awareness.
