Job summary

The Senior Principal Cost Controls Specialist manages project cost control activities, including forecasting, reporting, and risk management, to ensure project financial performance and strategic guidance within an EPC energy sector setting.

Responsibilities

Lead cost control for assigned projects, overseeing budgets, forecasts, reporting, cash flow, and financial performance. Assess cost risks and changes, support project decision-making and closeout, and guide project teams in maintaining accurate, auditable cost controls.

Requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience, plus at least 12 years of progressive project controls experience. Candidates should have led cost controls on complex EPC projects in energy-related industries and bring strong forecasting, change and risk management, leadership, communication, and Primavera P6 skills.
