Job summary

A Medical Assistant supports healthcare providers by performing patient intake, vital checks, basic lab work, medication administration, and administrative tasks in a fast-paced urgent care setting.

Responsibilities

The Medical Assistant will perform patient triage, document information in the EMR, and conduct basic laboratory procedures such as EKGs and phlebotomy. They are also responsible for preparing exam rooms, administering medications under supervision, and providing patient education.

Candidates must have completed an accredited Medical Assistant program with a clinical externship and hold a current CPR certification. A minimum of one year of clinical experience in a physician's office or hospital is preferred.
