Job summary

The Shipping and Receiving Clerk manages the accurate movement of materials, supporting receiving, inventory control, shipping, and customer delivery while maintaining inventory accuracy and operational efficiency in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, record, store, and pick materials while maintaining accurate inventory and shipping and receiving records. Prepare shipment documentation, coordinate carrier pickups, monitor deliveries, resolve discrepancies, and support warehouse and logistics operations.

Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or GED and three to five years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, inventory, logistics, or related operations. Candidates should have basic warehouse and inventory knowledge, be able to move materials weighing up to 50 pounds, and prioritize safety; forklift, ERP/MRP, carrier-system, and international shipping experience are preferred.
