Job summary

Senior Process Engineer responsible for designing and analyzing plant processes, developing diagrams and datasheets, performing hydraulic calculations, and supporting safety and environmental compliance in industrial power or chemical plants.

Responsibilities

The Senior Process Engineer is responsible for developing process flow diagrams, P&IDs, and equipment datasheets while performing hydraulic analysis and heat and mass balance calculations. They will also support project objectives by coordinating with teams, participating in hazard analysis reviews, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Equipment sizing and rating Heat and Mass Balance (H&MB) Hydraulic analysis and calculations Piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) Process flow diagrams (PFD) Process hazard analysis (HAZID, HAZOP) Process modeling software (AspenTech) Process/Mechanical Equipment Datasheets Relief system design Safety and environmental regulation compliance

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering and possess over 15 years of experience in relevant industrial sectors. Proficiency in process modeling software, strong knowledge of industry standards like ASME and API, and experience in equipment specification are essential.
