Job summary

Seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to support the design and delivery of electrical infrastructure projects in the UK utility sector, including producing design packs, reviewing technical drawings, and coordinating with project teams and clients.

Responsibilities

Own electrical engineering and design requirements for assigned utility infrastructure projects, producing design packs, drawings, reports, layouts, specifications, and system studies from concept through construction handover. Coordinate with civil engineers, clients, network operators, suppliers, and project teams to review equipment and designs and provide technical support throughout delivery.

Qualifications

AutoCAD Electrical Engineering PowerFactory Project Design Protection Coordination Schematics Systems Studies

A degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar qualification is sought, along with experience in utilities, power, or electrical infrastructure projects and a good understanding of DNO/IDNO requirements and industry standards. Candidates should be proficient with AutoCAD, able to review technical designs for accuracy and buildability, and bring strong organisation, attention to detail, communication, and Microsoft Office skills; PowerFactory experience is an advantage.
