Job summary

Part-time Paramedic responsible for providing emergency medical care, monitoring patient vitals, assisting with procedures, and supporting patient flow in the Emergency Department.

Responsibilities

The paramedic will provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department, including monitoring vital signs, performing phlebotomy, and assisting with lifesaving procedures. They also support patient flow, maintain department equipment, and communicate patient status to the nursing and physician staff.

Qualifications

Advanced Cardiac Life Support Basic Life Support Emergency Care IV Insertion and Management Medical Equipment Operation Patient Monitoring Pediatric Advanced Life Support Phlebotomy Vital Signs Measurement Wound Care

Candidates must hold a current State of Indiana EMT-P certification and complete ACLS and PALS certifications within six months of hire. While no prior experience is required, one year of paramedic experience is preferred.
