Job summary

Waymo seeks a Staff Systems Test Engineer specializing in scenario quality and maintenance systems to design scalable testing architectures, manage quality assurance, maintain test health through automation, and develop maintenance playbooks for autonomous vehicle software testing. The role requires extensive experience in test engineering, automation, and data analysis, with a focus on scaling testing programs for autonomous vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

You will design scalable quality architecture and meta-quality frameworks to drive test coverage and validation for autonomous vehicle systems. Additionally, you will maintain test health by driving automation in detection and resolution processes while partnering with SMEs to establish standards.

Qualifications

C++ Data Analysis Debugging Lean/Six Sigma Python Robotics SQL Statistical Process Control Test Automation Testing Program Architecture

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and at least 8 years of experience in test engineering, software development, or related technical operations. Proficiency in Python, C++, and SQL is required, along with experience in architecting large-scale testing programs.
