Job summary

Provide patient-centered nursing care in a hospital emergency department, developing and implementing care plans, educating patients and families, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure safety and quality in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

The registered nurse provides patient- and family-centered care by developing individualized nursing plans and integrating evidence-based practice. They also collaborate with interprofessional teams to ensure safe, compassionate care while actively participating in quality improvement and committee work.

Qualifications

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Basic Life Support (BLS) Communication Skills Cultural Awareness Discharge Planning Health Information Documentation Medication Administration Patient Assessment Patient Care RN - Registered Nurse

Candidates must hold a specialized diploma or degree from an accredited school of nursing and possess an active Pennsylvania RN license. BLS certification is required, and at least one year of acute care experience is strongly preferred.
