Job summary

The RN Clinical Nurse delivers patient-centered, evidence-based nursing care while collaborating with an interprofessional team. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, planning care, performing clinical functions, and improving care processes to enhance safety and quality. Requires current RN licensure, BLS certification, an ADN, with a BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, safe, evidence-based nursing care by assessing patients, developing collaborative care plans, and delivering age-appropriate and culturally sensitive clinical care. Collaborate with physicians and the interprofessional team to improve outcomes and patient experience, manage risks, respond to emergencies, and support a professional environment of mentoring and development.

Qualifications

Requires current Wisconsin RN licensure, American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support certification, and an associate degree in nursing; a bachelor’s degree in nursing is preferred. The role also requires the ability to perform physical patient-care duties, including lifting up to 50 pounds, and to work in an environment with potential exposure to bodily fluids, sharp instruments, and other workplace hazards.
