Job summary

Build highly scalable, reliable backend systems for a consumer platform, focusing on deployment, monitoring, and improvement of software products.

Responsibilities

Build, deploy, maintain, and monitor scalable, reliable backend applications, while ensuring code quality, security, performance, and availability. Evaluate platform technologies, review peers’ code, contribute to technical debt and feature planning, and collaborate with teammates to improve the platform.

Qualifications

Algorithms Automated Testing AWS CI/CD Data Structures Distributed Systems Docker Java NoSQL Object-Oriented Programming

Requires a bachelor’s degree in a science, programming, or engineering-related field and 5+ years of experience building highly scalable consumer-facing applications. Candidates should have experience with Java or another object-oriented language, cloud platforms, distributed systems, automated testing, databases, containerization, CI/CD, and designing performant, fault-tolerant software.
